Annabel Cussen
Annabel is the Field and Foundation Development Lead at Community Foundations Australia, supporting the growth and development of community foundations and funds through strategic facilitation, governance support, and network development. She was previously Executive Officer of the South West Community Foundation (VIC) from 2020 to 2025, and brings further experience across private philanthropy, local government, and community engagement and development. A proud regional advocate for community-led, place-based approaches, she is a skilled communicator with particular strengths in strategy, governance, regional leadership, and building sector capability.
Annabel also serves as Board Chair of are-able, a regionally based disability employment and social enterprise organisation, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
