Supporting creative industries

Visual and performing artists are a very important component of Social Impact in the Regions (SIITR).

In 2024, with the support of Arts Mid North Coast we had a stellar range of talent including:

  • Jay Black, And The Trees Photography
  • Peter Clarke, Heaven and Earth Films
  • Sion Thomas, visual artist
  • Rex Clutario, onsite DJ
  • Lucy Frost, performer
  • Ronnie Grammatica, local portraiture exhibition
  • Anglican Church Choir
  • String quartet
  • And who could forget the stunning Love Letters to the Macleay postcards, artwork by Joanne Stead
  • We also had cameo performances by Paul Sekfy (our resident town crier), Arthur Bain, Chris Austin, Chris King, Lemu Reeves, Louise and Logan at the SIITR Gala dinner

And then… there’s our creative industries support crew including graphic designer Bettina Kaiser and web design Dave Ackerman

Our creative industries spend is 20% of our overall budget and we wouldn’t have it any other way. The arts are and will always be an integral component of SIITR.

Thanks to Arts Mid North Coast for your ongoing support of SIITR.
