Renee King
Renee is the Community Development Project Manager at Community Power Agency (CPA), where she supports councils, industry and communities around the country to navigate a fairer, faster renewable energy transition.
She also serves as a Regional Coordinator with Welcoming Australia, delivering the Workplace Readiness Regional Pilot where businesses engage her for training and faciltiation to become employers of choice for migrants and diverse staff. She also runs her own consultancy, The Network Cultivator, which cultivates conditions for community-led change.
Renee previously spent 3 years as Program Manager of Western Downs Futures, leading the establishment of the region's collective impact initiative and stewarding five working groups under a place-based backbone model. As Western Downs Futures now registers as an independent organisation, she continues on its leadership team.
Across every role, Renee’s work is driven by a belief in centering community agency to organise and mobilise around the future they want to create.
