Amanda di Medici, Principal and Founder of the FIQ Project is the winner of the #SIITR National Pitchfest.

About Amanda di Medici and the FIQ Project
Amanda di Medici has a long history within the Financial Literacy arena, and is an accredited vocational trainer, and learning designer. Her passion for this area has seen her actively working within all areas of the community, including High Schools and TAFES, Correctional Facilities, Mental Health Programs, Addiction Facilities, Aged Care programs, to name a few.
The FIQ Project is upping the ante on Financial Literacy and taking Australia along on the journey.

The FIQ Project builds financially aware, strong and resilient people who are able to plan
a life to achieve their goals, no matter what they are. They are also
protecting vulnerable people from predatory schemes such as Pay
Day Lenders and dodgy “Rent to Buy” schemes.

What is the prize pack?

Each finalist will receive:

  • A ticket to Social Impact in the Regions 2024 valued at $1,650 to pitch

The overall #SIITR24 Pitchfest winner will receive:

  • A ticket to Social Impact in the Regions 2024 valued at $1,650
  • Free enrolment in the Social Enterprise Design Course (Good Hustle) valued at $1,000
  • 12 months free StartSomeGood membership
  • Credit towards crowd funding support and coaching
  • A ticket to #SIITR25 and invitation to join the #SIITR25 Pitchfest judging panel
  • A further mentoring pack including accelerated support through the Regional Innovation Program via Alt Collective

What is the criteria?

The judging panel will be on the lookout for the following:

1. Pitch quality: How did it sound? How well was the concept presented?

2. Idea impact: Potential social and economic impact for the founder/customer or community

3. Idea sustainability; Overall viability
