The newly appointed Social Impact in the Regions 2026 (SIITR26) National Advisory Team has held its first meeting, bringing together a diverse group of leaders from across Australia to help shape the direction of this year’s conference.
Representing a range of states, sectors and areas of impact, the advisory team will provide strategic advice and support in developing the SIITR26 program. Their role also extends to offering insight into the broader state of social impact across regional and rural Australia, ensuring the conference continues to reflect the priorities, challenges and opportunities emerging in communities across the country.
SIITR26 will take place in Stanthorpe, Queensland 2-4 September 2026, continuing the national conversation about locally led change and the conditions that enable regional communities to thrive.
The key theme of SIITR26 is ‘Towns in transition’.
