(drum roll please)

We know you’ve been waiting to learn more about our 2025 program and while we’d like to say we are strategic enough to build the anticipation to breaking point the truth is we had so many excellent applications it really took time to choose.

The full program will be online on 12th June. In the meantime, if this isn’t enough to have you jumping online to book we don’t know what will !

Program elements.

SIITR25 is a fully immersive experience incorporating opportunities to connect, wellness activities, neoroarts and of course content designed to support you as a regional impact practitioner or investor.

Let’s take a look at the structure and some of the content.

Day 1 – come as you are

Following welcomes, acknowledgements and an introduction to the conference day 1 will commence with a panel on PLACE – Why Place Matters. The panel will feature Natalie Egleton, CEO of the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal. The panel will assist you to get a good grasp on what place means in Australia right now. You’ll hear some examples of place based programs and investment and leave with some solid ideas about how you can structure your work in line with this.

The next panel is called The State of Readiness – what our communities need now. In this panel Ready Communities Co-Founder Dr. Chad Renando will explore the idea of readiness through the lens of the Ready Communities work in Kempsey and Grafton and also look at the concept through the work of several other practitioners.

After a locally produced morning tea you’ll participate in a very important workshop delivered by Elise Parups called ‘Demystifying the Impact Economy’. Following this workshop you’ll have the opportunity to network with a range of impact investors. We know our audience will get enormous value from this workshop and it’s been designed to explore a range of funding vehicles giving you ideas that are far removed from traditional grant writing.

After a locally sourced lunch which you’ll have hands on involvement in creating we move to a range of Grafton based social impact programs where you’ll participate in an impact lab designed to support local social impact practitioners and also for you to learn as you support. The themes will be mainstreet activation, youth futures, regenerative economies, housing and social enterprise.

And then we move into the fun elements including our national pitchfest and a special welcome event hosted by the Grafton Cathedral.

After our welcome we’ve arranged a range of themed pubs for you to have dinner. What are the themes? We don’t know yet but will be asking ticket holders in coming weeks (they will be places for people to come together on things they care about think housing, youth…)

Then.

You rest.

More on the following days coming very soon…
