Bec Woolley
Bec is from Lutruwita/Tasmania and brings close to two decades of experience across government and the not-for-profit sector, spanning housing, homelessness, child and youth services, community development and social impact.
As Manager of Community Programs at Loreto Community Housing, Bec provides strategic leadership across programs focused on tenancy sustainment, wellbeing, employment and training pathways, and community engagement. She leads multidisciplinary teams, supports program growth and works across sectors to build partnerships and create sustainable outcomes, with a strong focus on child and youth safe practice.
Bec has particular expertise in social impact and outcome measurement, using data and evidence to inform strategy, strengthen practice and demonstrate change. As a member of the Community Development Australia Steering Committee, she also contributes to national conversations on community development and place-based practice, bringing a Tasmanian perspective to how communities can shape responses to local challenges.
