Months in the making, the conference gala dinner at the end of Day 2 provides an opportunity to showcase local providers and connect in a relaxed environment.
The evening was held with a musical backdrop of local artists Jazzify, featuring songbird Teri Welles.
Floral wreaths were provided by local Granite Belt Flowers, theming by Braeside Love Collective with supplies from nearby Granite Belt Christmas Farm, production by Top Beat, entertainment with local magician Paul Andrews, dinner by local chef Jason Costanzo from Golden Grove Estate, wines by Squished Berry Wines, juice by local Coco’s Orchards. And, of course, Social Impact in the Regions long-term Events Production powerhouse Emma Callaghan from JC Entertainment and Events.
The event structure also allowed opportunities for flexibility. Kayla Bogatek and Clare Lawley from Project SKIP took the stage to walk the delegates through a collective magic trip. The youth contingent wrote a song about the conference on the train ride and took the stage in a flash mob. Travis Devries took the DJ deck as the dinner moved to the dance floor.
