There are so many ways to get involved in a Social Impact in the Regions conference. Please find a list of opportunities following. We look forward to hearing from you.
Tickets:
- Early bird tickets are on sale until 30 April (or the allocation runs out). Visit our ticketing site or request an invoice.
- If you’re feeling in a pay-it-forward kind of mood all full priced tickets are accompanied by a local ticket. Yes – you’ll be shouting a Stanthorpe changemaker a ticket to attend the whole event along with your own ticket. (this is an excellent way to say thanks to the host community).
Bursary applications
- Since 2023 Ready Communities and our generous donors have created 161 scholarship opportunities valued at $265,650. We have been delighted to grow our bursary program each year and in 2026 anticipate it will again play a large role in ensuring small NGOs can attend. Applications for our bursary program will open on 1 February and will close on 18 April. Apply here
Program co-design
- There are many contributing factors to the program design and one important input each year is input from our ticket holders. The earlier you purchase your ticket, the more opportunities you’ll have to contribute to the design of a program that meets your learning needs.
SIITR26 National Pitchfest
- Our treasured Pitchfest is on again in 2026. This year with a slight twist – we will have an audience favourite as well. SIITR Alumni will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite pitch-ee via their online applications. SIITR26 Pitchfest is open for applications and will close on 15 May (NOTE: This date has changed from the previously advertised date). FIVE finalists (all receive a ticket to SIITR26) will be notified by 20 May. APPLY HERE
Volunteering
- Need some additional support to attend SIITR? Join us in 2026 as a volunteer. Applications to volunteer are now open, you can follow this link to apply today.
Learn with us
- SIITR is the mid point of a 24 month place-based program. There are many learning opportunities leading in via the Ready Stanthorpe program (delivered by Ready Communities). If you’d like to know more, or get involved in one of our focus areas: Local economy, community contribution, sustainability, cultural practices and liveability get in touch.
Speakers, workshops, panels
- Each year SIITR hosts just over 50 speakers across plenary sessions, workshops, masterclasses, impact labs and as living books. Our application is broad as it assists us to develop our program. It balances our ability to incorporate both the right people, and the right content. Unlike most conferences, SIITR offers free and subsidised tickets (depending on the speaking segment, valued up to $1,650). We do not pay speaker fees. Applications to be a speaker at SIITR26 are now open and close on 30 April 2026. Apply here.
Sponsorship and partnerships
- Want to get in front of the movers and shakers of regional Australia? We have plenty of opportunities to get involved from sponsoring key social events to supporting bursaries for delegates to attend. Get in touch to find out more.
Exhibitors
- Just wait until you see the magnificent venue we’ve secured for you in 2026. It comes with abundant exhibitor space. If you’d like to exhibit in 2026 get in touch.
