Join the SIITR26 Advisory Team

Social Impact in the Regions 2026 (SIITR26) is calling for passionate regional Australians to apply to join the SIITR26 Advisory Team, playing a key role in shaping one of Australia’s most significant regional impact conferences.

SIITR26 will be held in Stanthorpe, Queensland from 2–4 September 2026 and brings together community leaders, practitioners, policy makers, funders and advocates committed to strengthening outcomes for regional Australia.

The SIITR26 Advisory Team will be made up of people with lived experience in the regions, including changemakers, policy makers and impact investors who are passionate about contributing to a conference that genuinely shifts the dial for regional communities.

Under the guidance of Advisory Team Chair Jesse Taylor, members will meet online twice per month between February and July, and weekly during August in the lead-up to the conference.

The primary role of the Advisory Team is to advise on conference programming and strategic alignment, ensure key regional issues are highlighted, support the selection of authentic and diverse speakers, and guide the overall direction of the conference as a strong voice for regional changemakers.

Jesse Taylor, Chair of the SIITR26 Advisory Team, said the opportunity has been both a responsibility and a privilege;

“It is a privilege to chair the SIITR26 Advisory Team and to work alongside committed regional Australia changemakers in shaping a conference that meaningfully advances impact, advocacy and lived experience across regional Australia. I strongly encourage those with a passion for regional Australia and a desire to strategically contribute to consider applying.”

Advisory Team members will have the opportunity to expand their professional networks, contribute to strategic planning and advocacy for regional Australia, and attend a growing national event dedicated to social impact in the regions.

Applications to join the SIITR26 Advisory Team close 14 February 2026.
